Getting In Touch & Staying in Touch

For concerns about birds that may be injured or orphaned, the best way to reach Flight Plan Rehab is the old-fashioned way, by phone at 207-382-3013 (that’s a landline, so don’t try to text!). For concerns about baby songbirds found on the ground, you can take a look at our recommendations here.
If we need to see a photo of the bird(s) you’re calling about, we’ll give you an Ipad number that you can use for texting. Alternatively, you could attach a photo to an email sent to [email protected].
Of course, you can email rather than call regarding a bird concern, but in the busy summer days of baby bird season, we may not be stopping by the computer to check email regularly or frequently (unless we are expecting mail from someone we’ve already spoken to), whereas a phone will always be handy. It’s fine to email us with comments or with general questions that don’t need immediate answers.
Although we had once planned to have a Facebook page, we’ve become disenchanted with that platform as well as with “The Metaverse” in general. We’d prefer to send an occasional newsletter when there’s something we think Flight Plan’s friends would like to know about, rather than maintain a frequent posting routine even when we don’t have anything special to report. So don’t bother looking for a Facebook or Instagram or Twitter icon – we’re taking a simpler, more basic approach to social networking!
